• You are genuinely interested in children, their emotional wellbeing and educational development.
• You have a background in education… OR… can show you have successfully contributed to the educational development of your own or other children… OR… can match your enthusiasm for the ideals of Bluepoint with good communication skills combined with above average reading, arithmetic and spelling abilities.
• You are comfortable using a computer and are familiar 'searching the Net'.
• You are kind, not easily provoked or rattled, have a sense of humour and above all, patience.
• You are able to supply references confirming your honesty, punctuality, reliability and willingness to accept responsibility.
• You are fully prepared to participate in Bluepoint training --- includes preparation for supervision of homework, basic study skills, and health and safety issues.
• You reside in New Zealand with English your first language.
• You are an experienced driver and hold a current licence with no endorsements.
